Storytime

THE LIME TREE • I van was a humble man who lived in a humble cottage among the trees. How humble was he? He had no pony to ride, and no cow to give him milk.

THOR’S TRIALS • It was a fine, sunny morning in Valhalla, the home of the Norse gods. However, Loki, the god of mischief, was not happy.

WALTER THE WARM-HEARTED OWL • Walter was just a young owl, but he loved trying to solve people’s problems!

THE LION’S SONG • Nesta was born in his grandfather’s house in the village of Nine Mile, high up in the green hills of Jamaica. His family gathered for his birth, while children sang songs outside to welcome him into the world.

MADAME WHITE SNAKE • What is the most beautiful lake in the world? Many say that it is the West Lake, in northern China. People come from far and wide to gaze upon its beauty, but none know about what lay beneath its still waters.

THE TURNIP SHIP • The old farmer looked proudly at the turnip in his garden. It was absolutely enormous!

THE BELLMAKERS • All around the world, people tell tales about fairy folk who dig tunnels beneath the Earth. In some countries they are called kobolds, coblyns or tommyknockers, but in the Netherlands, people call them kabouters.

THE BRINJAL CURRY • Along time ago, an emperor named Sri Krishna Devaraya ruled in India. In his palace, he had many treasures. But the most valuable of them all was not kept in his treasure-room, but in his garden!

STORYTIME PLAYBOX • Solve a tricky lime tree puzzle, make a rubber band guitar and reunite baby birds with their parents in a COOL MEMORY GAME!

BIRDS AND CHICKS MEMORY GAME • Help Walter reunite all the baby birds with their parents!
