Storytime

THE BEAR IN THE PLAYGROUND • All the days of the week were good, but Masha thought that Saturdays were the best.

THE ACORN AND THE PUMPKIN • Early one morning, Harold was woken up by the sound of a rooster crowing. Outside, the sun was peeking over the horizon.

WHEN GODS CAME TO DINNER • Mount Olympus is a wonderful place! It is the home of the gods in Greek mythology, and from its heights, they look down on all of Greece.

THE KINGDOM OF THE OGRES • Once upon a time, there lived a man named Minh. He came from the country of Vietnam and loved it very much, but he wanted to see the world. That was why he took a job as a cook on a merchant ship.

AN EXTRA ORDINARY DAY! • Alastair looked into the mirror and told himself that everything was going to be okay. It was normal to be nervous about going to a new school.

SEE WILMA RUN! • Wilma was a lively child who always wanted to play outside. The only problem was, she got sick - a lot! Ever since she was born, she was either feverish, coughing, sneezing or covered in spots… or at least, that was how she remembered it!

THE SPIDER FALLS TO EARTH • Not many people know this, but in olden times, the Spider lived among the stars! Glooskap, the creator of the universe, told him to use his webs of silk to join the stars together into great sparkling constellations.

DONAL AND CONAL • Everybody agreed that Donal was the most cheerful fellow in all of Ireland. Everywhere he went, he greeted people with a happy ‘good morning!’ or ‘good evening’, depending on what time it was.

STORY TIME PLAYBOX • Spot a dancing fairy’s shadow, discover a magic word, solve a playground puzzle and make your very own Olympic medal!

STAR WEBS • The spider and his sister try to trap each other in this tricky puzzle. Who will ensnare their opponents in silk?
